Hello! colloquy is an internet talker server. It lets people all around the world talk to each other in real-time. It is based on The Nilex Talker and Egham Hills, a popular "techical" talker in the UK. The source is Lua with a smidgen of C, and is really ugly, because it does so much more than was originally intended, but it works a treat. Here is a little screenshot of my colloquy development environment. High tech, eh? :)

colloquy is distributed under a MIT-like license, and you are welcome to make use of it for any purpose you see fit. If you start a talker, I'd like to know, so I can keep my list up to date, and have a feel for how many people use it.
